     Hi friend,

are you telling us that you do not like to comply with strong password? Look at your GPO now.

    Hi,

To change the password requirements u will need to create a password policy or remove the complexity requirements in the default domain policy.

Try the following TechNet link for more information

    Thanks

    Hi There,

Normally after you done promoted the AD, the default Security Policy settings will be applied. if you don't want this complex password thing you can change it manually by goto Control Panel => Administrative Tools => Domain Controller Security Policy => Account Policies => Password Policy: (to disable make sure these options set to Not Defined).

But i think you should use this feature for your own good in the future. it's a very very useful option should be recommended. Hope this help

    Thanks,
    Robin
